Tidewater Youth Services Foundation - Our Mission

Our mission is to provide advocacy, raise funds, form community
partnerships, and develop programs to support our public partner, the
Tidewater Youth Services Commission, in its efforts to help at-risk
and delinquent youth find the right path to a brighter future.
Through philanthropy and volunteerism, we are able to touch the
lives of young people in ways not possible through state support
alone.

Our vision is that young people will leave Commission programs armed with the tools, skills and attitudes they need to become successful and productive members of the community.   

We believe that every young person has value and the potential for a bright future. Yet, some make mistakes. Ignore? Punish? Or help?
